COVID-19 Mr. Caron In-Hospital Care

Case Summary

Mr. Robert Caron is a 57-year-old male who was assessed in both the COVID-19 Assessment Centre and Emergency Department due to increasingly severe respiratory symptoms suggestive of COVID-19.  A nasopharyngeal swab was obtained three days ago and today, in the Emergency Department, a CT of his chest was completed.

Mr. Caron is now being admitted to a general medicine unite.  Infection prevention and control measures have been followed including prompt implementation of contact and droplet precautions.
